My husband Chris and I began our interest in the boxer breed when we bought our first pet boxer, Stoli, in the spring of 2001 from a breeder in Northern Maine. His caring and loving personality and his amazing ability to make us laugh at any given time was what had us wanting more. It was at that time that we decided that we wanted a little girl for him to play with. We then bought Naya from a breeder here in New Hampshire. She was a little terror right from day one, but stole our hearts anyway. She took to Stoli immediately and they became inseparable.
Around the time Naya was about 18 months old, we met Cindy & George Deamicis of Shilos Boxers. They were both very wonderful to us. Cindy invited us to a couple dog shows so we could see what it was all about and meet some people who are in the breed. It was at these shows that we were introduced to Allison (Bitler) Maney of Bitwyn Boxers. She was a wealth of information to us as well as Cindy was. It was also at these dog shows that Chris and I decided we really wanted to try a hand at it ourselves. We decided to breed Naya with Whiskey in the hopes of a show prospect in the litter for ourselves.
Whiskey produced an amazing litter of pups for us. Naya had 11 pups in her first litter born on January 2, 2004. Griffin and Brenna are two pups that stayed here at Many Maples with us.
Kristina Buckley, a close friend and mentor, of Sarmeda Boxers gave us the opportunity to have a wonderful litter of Perry puppies. Ch. Sarmeda Woods End Remembrance (Perry) of Sarmeda Boxers produced Naya's second litter. Naya had 8 pups on July 1, 2005. Penelope came from this breeding.
We then had the wonderful opportunity of a repeat breeding with Perry and Naya. The puppies were born on December 18, 2006. Naya had 7 male pups.
In researching bloodlines of Brenna's, we were able to find a grandson to Triple Crown's War Admiral (Warrior), his name is JJ (MarTrav's Justa Dream) owned by Chet Spraski of Red Maple Boxers. Warrior is Brenna's grandfather, this would be a terrific line breeding and we got a beautiful litter born on December 18, 2006. Yes both Naya and Brenna had their pups on the same day! It was a bit hectic for a while. Brenna had 4 males and 4 females.
We had a repeat breeding with JJ and Brenna, another wonderful litter. The pups were born on April 19th, 2008. Brenna had 5 males and 1 female.
Once again here at Many Maples we have had a VERY fortunate opportunity thanks wholly to Debbie Cronk and Allen Gagnon. We have had our eyes on Ch. Tenebo's Perfect Storm at Cove's Edge (Cappy) of Cove's Edge Boxers for a couple years now and finally our dreams have become reality. Penelope and Cappy produced a fantastic litter of pups born on July 15th, 2008. We have the hopes that at least 3 of these pups will be in show homes!!
